FOSS (Friends of Stithians School) is a group of parents and/or staff who raise funds for the school through the organisation and staging of various events throughout the year.
Each year we give funds to the School which are spent on activities such as the visit of a theatre group, hoodies for those leaving year 6, coach travel for each class to go on a trip, and helping Santa with gifts to accompany his visit. Last year we also funded new class trophies.

Easyfundraising
FOSS is now registered with Easyfundraising. If we can get 100 people signed up to our cause, we can realistically raise over £200 a year by people routing their online shopping through the Easyfundraising website or app. It is at no extra cost to the person shopping - you just need to remember to use it! To get a link to sign up and earn FOSS £5 extra from Easyfundraising itself (if your online shopping raises £5 in the next year), please email us.
Fundraising events
A big 'Thank You' to parents, children, staff and other community members for their continued support in raising funds for the school. FOSS helps the school through its contribution of funds towards child-identified enrichment activities.
We could not do anything without the amazing support of the staff and parent volunteers - thank you for all your time and help. We work with school to hold fundraising events throughout the year. Information about recent events is below. You can also keep up with events by visiting our Facebook page, FOSS - Friends of Stithians School.
Many events did not take place during the Covid pandemic, but we had many successes beforehand.
